PURPOSE: A vibration motor and a mobile terminal equipped with the same are provided to use a motor vibrating in the lateral direction, thereby enabling the terminal to be miniaturized. CONSTITUTION: A vibration motor includes a housing, a coil (360), a moving part, and elastic components (351,352). The housing includes a first through a fourth side on the inner circumferential surface except the top and bottom. The coil is formed at the housing. The moving part moves back and forth between the first side and the third side which face each other. The elastic components are formed between the moving part and the housing in multiple numbers, and the elastic coefficient of elastic components formed on one side is different from the elastic coefficient of elastic components formed on the other side. A guide part guides the moving part and is formed at the second and fourth sides of the housing. |
