PURPOSE: A frequency characteristic variable frequency selective surface (FSS) filter is provided to automatically control the transmitting/blocking of sunlight in accordance with a temperature through a thermistor. CONSTITUTION: An FSS filter includes multiple unit cells and multiple thermistors. The multiple unit cells are arranged on an FSS. The multiple thermistors include at least one thermistor connecting each unit cell. Electrical connection of each cell is changed by a resistive component changing in accordance with the temperature of the thermistors. As the resistive component of the electrical connection is changed, the frequency characteristics of the FSS filter, which is composed of the multiple unit cells and multiple thermistors, are changed. The multiple unit cells arranged on the FSS include at least one trimmer capacitor connecting each unit cell. |
