PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reliably detecting a liquid level only by analog processing even when liquid held in a container is boiled and the liquid level lowers.SOLUTION: A liquid level detection device is provided with: an input part 33 for inputting voltage output of a temperature sensor of a probe as a temperature signal V(k) as is an analog quantity; a signal processing part 34 for outputting a processing signal V(k) of the temperature signal V(k) synchronized with heat supply of a heater; an operation part 35 for performing operation processing of the temperature signal V(k) and the processing signal V(k) and outputting them; and a gas-liquid identification part 37 for identifying as to which of gas phase or a liquid phase a detection point 15 exists on the basis of a result of output of the operation processing.
