PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably apply a resin agent such as an adhesive to a predetermined application position of a material to be applied even if the material to be applied does not have a constant external shape thereof, such as a fabric (especially fabric that is cut, stretched and contracted).SOLUTION: An apparatus for applying a resin agent includes: a support base 2 for a material W to be applied; an image detection unit 3 that captures an image of the material W to be applied supported on the support base 2 and digitizes an external shape position thereof to obtain as position data thereof; an application head 4 for applying a resin agent to the material W to be applied; an application position changing mechanism 5 for moving relatively the support base 2 and the application head 4; and a head controlling unit 6 that obtains an application position of the resin agent with respect to the material W to be applied based on the position data of the material W to be applied which are obtained by the image detection unit 3 and instructs the application position changing mechanism 5 to move the application head 4 corresponding to the application position.
