PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid opening and closing structure that uses a twin coil type coil spring and is excellent in switching operation and assemblability, and a vehicle power supply socket using the same.SOLUTION: A lid opening and closing structure includes: a base 50 as a body; a cover 30 that is rotatably supported around a rotation fulcrum 52 installed in the base 50, and can perform switching operation to cover or open an opening 50a of the base 50 when necessary for rotation operation; and a torsion coil spring 40 of a twin coil type, wherein a base side arm part 44 that is the one end part of the torsion coil spring 40 is rotatably supported around the rotation fulcrum 52 provided in the base 50, a lever side arm part 41 that is the other end part of the torsion coil spring 40 is rotatably supported and mounted in a movement rotation fulcrum 34 of a lever part 32 protruded from a rotation fulcrum 33 of the cover 30, and the base side arm part 44 and the lever side arm part 41 are connected to two places of the torsion coil parts 48 (48A and 48B) respectively, and is configured to perform a switching operation of the cover 30 by a toggle operation of the torsion coil spring 40. |
