PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric power generator including a piezoelectric element and generating electric energy from the piezoelectric element on the basis of reception force of the piezoelectric element, the power generator capable of achieving electric regeneration derived from heat.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric power generator 1 includes: a pressure rise storage part 20 for converting liquid methanol into vapor by waste heat and storing the vapor in a pressurised manner; a gas introduction part 30 to which the vapor is introduced; a communicating part 40 communicating these parts; an introduction amount adjusting part 50 for adjusting an introduction amount of the vapor; a pressure transmitting part 60 for transmitting the pressure of the vapor to a piezoelectric element 14; and an outflow amount adjusting part 70 for adjusting an outflow amount of the vapor to be flown out from the gas introduction part 30. The piezoelectric power generator alternately executes introduction close control and introduction open control, and alternately executes outflow open control and outflow close control. Accordingly, the piezoelectric element receives the transmitted pressure of the vapor to generate electric energy, allowing electric regeneration derived from heat to be achieved.
