PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength reliability against vibrations of a return oil pipe provided by a compressor of an air conditioner.SOLUTION: A compressor includes a compression mechanism part at an upper part in a hermetically sealed casing, a motor at a lower part in the hermetically sealed casing, a lubricant sump part on a bottom part in the hermetically sealed casing, and an emission part emitting refrigerant to the side higher than the lubricant sump part. In the air conditioner where the emission part is connected to a refrigerant pipe of a refrigeration cycle, a compressor is formed of a vent for venting a lubricant staying in the lubricant sump part on the bottom part in the hermetically sealed casing and includes a return oil pipe connecting the vent to the emission part to return the lubricant to the refrigerant pipe. Moreover, owing to a high pressure on the emission side of the lubricant sump part, the lubricant flows from the lubricant sump part to the emission part via the return oil pipe. |
