PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which can secure sufficient airtightness at low cost in portions where terminals are attached to the battery container.SOLUTION: A battery 10 comprises a power generation element 120, a cathode collector 130 connected to the power generation element 120, and a rivet terminal 210 electrically connected to the cathode collector 130. The rivet terminal 210 consists of a base part 211 and a shaft part 212 inserted into an open hole of a battery container 100. Around the shaft part 212 there are provided a first packing 220 which is disposed so as to cover the periphery of the shaft part 212 and inserted into the open hole of the battery container 100 and a second packing 230 which is disposed between the battery container 100 and the base part 211 so as to cover the first packing 220. The first packing 220 is higher in hardness than the second packing 230 and includes a projection 221 between the battery container 100 and the base part 211, and the second packing 230 includes a fitting part 231 which engages with the projection 221. |
