PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water intake joint for a down-pipe, capable of taking out rainwater only and accumulating it in a storage tank without closing a flow path to the storage tank by waste paper, dry leaves and the like even when guerilla heavy rain falls and a large amount of rainwater flows down inside the down-pipe.SOLUTION: The water intake joint for a down-pipe includes: an outer cylinder 2 which is interposed to a down-pipe 12, and whose upper end part 2a is connected so as to be communicated with the down-pipe 12 at the upper part; and an inner cylinder 3 which is arranged inside the outer cylinder 2, and whose lower end part 3b is communicated with the down-pipe 12 at the lower part. By sealing a lower end part 2b of the outer cylinder 2 and an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 3, a rainwater accumulation part 4 is formed between the outer cylinder 2 and the inner cylinder 3, and an intake part 5 for leading rainwater inside the rainwater accumulation part 4 to an outside storage tank 13 is connected. Also, on an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 2 positioned at the upper part of the inner cylinder 3, a plurality of partition plates 6 which are projected to the center side of the outer cylinder 2 with a plate surface in a vertical direction, and for which a distal end edge part 2a positioned on the center side is extended from an inner peripheral surface side of the outer cylinder 2 to an upper position of the inner cylinder 3 from the upper part to the lower part, are provided at an interval in a circumferential direction. |
