PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for joining a ceiling joist to a ceiling joist support, having a simple construction for hardly producing rattling.SOLUTION: A clip 1 for mounting a ceiling joist 3 having a bottom wall part 8, side wall parts 9 and lip parts 13 to the lower side of a ceiling joist support 4, comprises: a head part 21 for striding over the upper part of the ceiling joist support in the cross direction of the ceiling joist support; a pair of leg parts 22 hung down from both ends of the head part linearly and parallelly to each other to hold the ceiling joist support therebetween, and having respective lower ends for passing between the lip parts of the ceiling joist and plunging inward of the ceiling joist; and elastic claws 23 protruded from the lower ends of both leg parts at their respective lateral sides in the cross direction of the ceiling joist to the side of the head part, and movable forward/backward in the cross direction of the ceiling joist with elastic deformation for locking the lip parts. The elastic claws have lock faces 34 inclined in the initial states of the elastic claws to extend to the side of the bottom wall part as extending to the sides of the side wall parts in the cross direction of the ceiling joist, where the lip parts are locked. |
