PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire that enables a user to securely grasp the curving direction of a curved portion in use.SOLUTION: The guide wire 1 comprises: a wire body 2 composed of a flexible, long body that has at its leading end a curved portion 21, which is naturally curved in one direction without external force exerted thereto; and an imaging marker 3 set at or near the curved portion 21 of the wire body 2 and having a high imaging part 34 and a low imaging part 33 of different imaging properties. Of the high and low imaging parts 34 and 33, the lower imaging part 33 is oriented in the direction of the inside of the curve with respect to the curved portion 21, whereas the high imaging part 34 is oriented in the direction of the outside of the curve with respect to the curved portion 21. |
