PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that obtains a printed matter of a wider dynamic range.SOLUTION: There is provided first print data for performing printing on a first printing layer with an achromatic color material based on image data. When brightness of a first pixel indicative of the image data is included in a first brightness region, and brightness of a second pixel is included in a second brightness region darker than the first brightness region, the first print data are generated so that brightness of the first printing layer corresponding to the first pixel is lighter than that of the first printing layer corresponding to the second pixel, and the second printing data are generated to perform printing using the color material on the second printing layer on which the first printing layer is superposed. The printing part is controlled and the first printing layer and the second printing layer are printed based on the first printing data and the second printing data. |
