PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable any type of multifunction printer (MFP) to be easily operated with a user-customized UI image, in a system comprising servers and a plurality of MFPs which are connected to the servers via a network and are capable of outputting images.SOLUTION: An authentication processing unit 13 in an MFP 1 requests user authentication from a server on the basis of user information including at least a user ID input from a portable terminal device 5 or an operation panel 12. The servers comprise: a user authentication unit 21 for performing the user authentication; and a UI instruction unit 31 for, when the user authentication is successful, specifying a UI image to be displayed on an operation panel 12 for operating the MFP 1 in accordance with the user ID to instruct the MFP 1 to display the UI image. The MFP 1 executes image output in accordance with user operations received while displaying the UI image on the operation panel 12. |
