PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicular power transmission system in which start property of a vehicle is prevented from being reduced after idling stop by taking into account leak of a hydraulic oil from a hydraulic pump which is driven by a rotational drive force of a prime mover mounted in the vehicle and supplies the hydraulic oil to an automatic transmission.SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump is provided which is driven by an engine mounted in a vehicle and supplies a hydraulic oil sucked from a reservoir through a suction port while discharging a hydraulic pressure obtained by pressurizing the hydraulic oil from a discharge port. When a prescribed condition is satisfied, the engine is stopped for an idling stop (I/S) duration time (S10 to S14) and a crank angle of the engine is detected (S16). On the basis of characteristics indicating a degree of communication of the hydraulic oil between the discharge port and the suction port of the hydraulic pump which is set with respect to the crank angle, a leak amount of the hydraulic oil is estimated from the detected crank angle (S18), and the I/S duration time is set on the basis of the estimated leak amount (S20). |
