PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform more stable white balance correction according to a face detection result.SOLUTION: An image processing device for processing an image signal of a captured image, includes: calculating means (103) for detecting a pixel to be determined as white from the captured image to calculate a first white balance correction value; a face detecting unit (114) for detecting a face region; and white balance correction means (103) for, when the image signal of the face region is subjected to white balance correction on the basis of the first white balance correction value, if the corrected image signal of the face region is included in a second color region around a first color region indicating a skin color on a color space, performing white balance correction using a second white balance correction value correcting the image signal so as to move toward the first color region on the basis of a relation between the corrected image signal of the face region and the first color region, and if it is not included in the second color region, performing white balance correction using the first white balance correction value. |
