PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack guide mechanism capable of suppressing the lowering of power for pressing a support yoke to a rack shaft, and to provide a vehicle steering device.SOLUTION: A vehicle steering device includes: a rack shaft 15; a housing 30; a support yoke 50; an elastic member 66; a moving magnet 61; and a stationary magnet 62. The elastic member 66 is elongated as the support yoke 50 moves to the energizing direction ZN. This reduces power imparted to the support yoke 50 by the elastic member 66. Also, the power by which the moving magnet 61 and the stationary magnet 62 are attracted to each other is increased by making the moving magnet 61 approximate the stationary magnet 62 as the support yoke 50 moves to the energizing direction ZN. This can suppress the lowering of the power of the energizing direction ZN applied to the support yoke 50. |
