<p>Provided are a method for quantifying the strength of interface bonding between silica and a modified polymer in a rubber composition, a rubber composition adjusted by the method, and a pneumatic tire using the same. This method comprises: subjecting an unvulcanized rubber composition which comprises both silica and a modified polymer to solid NMR measurement according to a 1H CPMG (Carr-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill) method to determine the spin-spin relaxation times (T2) of a peak assignable to the polymer; and quantifying the strength of interface bonding between the silica and the modified polymer on the basis of the observation result of a component which exhibits the shortest spin-spin relaxation time (T2).</p> |
