PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tomographic image with reduced distortion caused by the movement of the eye to be examined even when performing automatic alignment or fundus tracking in accordance with the movement of the eye.SOLUTION: An optical coherence tomographic apparatus obtaining tomographic images of an eye to be examined based on interfering light obtained by interference between return light from the eye irradiated with measurement light and reference light corresponding to the measurement light, includes: a moving unit configured to move an optical system including an optical path of the measurement light; a scanning unit configured to scan measurement light on the eye to be examined; a control unit configured to control at least one of the moving unit and the scanning unit based on a plurality of images of the eye to be examined obtained at different times; and a stop unit configured to stop the control of the at least one of the moving unit and the scanning unit when obtaining a plurality of tomographic images in different positions of the eye to be examined. |
