PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desiccant air conditioner which detects the degradation or remaining power of adsorption capability of a desiccant block and selects an adsorption state or a regeneration state of the desiccant block at an appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A static desiccant air conditioner has: an external air passage 6 which supplies external air into a room; a returning air passage 7 which discharges regenerated air, an adsorption and desorption switching unit 80 which selects an adsorption state in which a desiccant block 83 which adsorbs moisture from external air in the external air passage and is regenerated using the regenerated air in the returning air passage is connected to the external air passage or a reproduction state in which the desiccant block is connected to the returning air passage; a precooling coil 612 which cools the external air; a moisture adjusting load control unit which controls the precooling coil so as to improve cooling performance of the precooling coil when a dew-point temperature measured at a dew-point meter 311 which measures a dew-point temperature of the external air after adjusting the moisture is higher than a set dew-point temperature; and an adsorption and desorption switching control unit which controls the adsorption and desorption switching unit to change the state of the desiccant block from the adsorption state to the regeneration state when a precooling coil outlet temperature reaches a set outlet temperature.
