PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of carbon dioxide with highly reactive volatile organic compound having been removed.SOLUTION: The method of producing at least one carbon dioxide stream containing substantially no highly reactive volatile organic compound from a production process of propylene oxide includes at least one of the steps of: (1) installing an additional separate flash tower between a carbonate flash tower and a carbon dioxide stripping tower, operating the additional flash tower under a condition suitable for converting hydrogen carbonate into carbonate and carbon dioxide, removing an original carbon dioxide stream containing the highly reactive volatile organic compound from the additional flash tower, and thereby generating a high-concentration carbonate concentrate with reduced highly reactive volatile organic compound for the process in the carbon dioxide stripping tower; and (2) extracting a carbon dioxide side stream containing no highly reactive volatile organic compound from a shelf lower than the carbon dioxide stripping tower by at least three rows. |
