PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast related technique which effectively uses metadata.SOLUTION: A receiving device for receiving content comprises: a receiving unit which receives the content and control information of the content; a wireless communication interface; a decryption and reproduction processing unit which decrypts and reproduces the received content; and a control unit. When it receives the content by file broadcasting, the control unit accumulates the content in a storage medium. For reproduction, the control unit decrypts and reproduces the content using the control information. For a voice signal, the control unit controls processing of the voice signal using acoustic characteristic parameters in the metadata acquired by the file broadcasting and the head-related transfer function parameters acquired by the receiving unit or the wireless communication interface. |
