PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce radioactive matters from asphalt paved surfaces covering ground surfaces of roads, squares, or the like.SOLUTION: A method includes a step of removing a surface layer of an asphalt pavement after embrittle treatment on the surface layer. The embrittle treatment is performed by bringing the surface of the asphalt pavement into contact with an asphalt resolvent or heating the surface of the asphalt pavement to an asphalt melting temperature. The removal of the surface layer of the asphalt pavement is performed by grinding the embrittled surface layer of the asphalt pavement. |
