摘要 The present invention provides a photoacoustic measuring device and a method by which the presence of an object can be easily identifyied in a relatively short time in photoacoustic measurement while holding an object by a holding plate. The photoacoustic measuring device has a irradiating unit with which the object is irradiated with light, a holding unit holding the object by the holding plate, a detecting unit detecting the photoacoustic wave generated by irradiating light and an analyzing unit analyzing photoacoustic signal of the photoacoustic wave. The analyzing unit analyzes a photoacoustic signal to acquire information concerning change of a signal intensity of a component of the photoacoustic signal of produced in an interface between the detecting unit and the holding plate and an interface between the holding plate and the object, to identify the presence of the object.
