Provided is an electrode foil that has both functions as a supporting base and an electrode and is suitable for highly efficiently producing an electronic device, which is provided with functionality on both surfaces, at low cost. An electrode foil of the present invention comprises a metal foil that has a thickness of 1-250 mum, and the outermost surfaces on both sides of the electrode foil are ultra-flat surfaces having an arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) of 30.0 nm or less as determined in accordance with JIS B 0601 (2001).
