The present disclosure is a method for producing an EL display device having an EL display panel which is provided with a light-emitting unit where a light-emitting layer is arranged between a pair of electrodes, and with a thin-film transistor array device for controlling the light emission of the light-emitting unit, a plurality of RGB pixels being arranged in the EL display panel. After manufacture of the EL display panel, in each of the pixels (5), a lighting-time anode voltage and cathode voltage are of a potential difference that serves as a reverse bias voltage, and there is implemented a testing step for applying the reverse bias voltage, for which the magnitude has been set in advance for every pixel (5) of the RGB colors. |
