PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive apparatus capable of accurately and easily measuring outer diameter shapes of a manufactured pipe or an existing pipe and an elbow by using a prepared measurement tool convenient for movement.SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: a ring having a ring inner peripheral surface 1a having a gap L1 from an outer peripheral surface 10a of a pipe and a ring outer peripheral surface 1b adjusted to a fixed thickness to the ring inner peripheral surface 1a; a plurality of measuring holes pierced into the whole periphery of the ring along a normal direction at equal intervals and at positions opposed to the center; a plurality of fixing screw holes pierced between the measuring holes along the normal direction to fix the ring on the pipe; a plurality of fixing screws to be inserted into respective fixing screw holes to fix the ring on the pipe; and a dial gage 7 to be inserted into the measuring hole to measure a distance between the outer peripheral surface 10a of the pipe and the ring inner surface 1a.
