PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a water treatment filter medium having a cavity provided therein and a plurality of openings permitting the penetration of a liquid into the cavity by a simpler operation, and a purification tank having the water treatment filter medium provided therein.SOLUTION: In a water treatment filter medium 1, a cylindrical filter medium body 4 and blocking parts 6A and 6B extending to the inside of the diametric direction of the filter medium body 4 from the edge parts of a pair of openings of the filter medium body 4 are integrally molded. The first blocking part 6A extending from one opening and the second blocking part 6B extending from the other opening are arranged on the projection surface along the axis X of the filter medium body 4 so as to complement each other. |
