PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give an effective intimidation to an arsonist to prevent arson by devising cooperation between flame detection and an illumination device.SOLUTION: An alarm 10 is installed outdoor or semi-outdoor to monitor a fire in a monitoring area. A fire determination part 26 performs a first stage fire determination for determining the fire on the basis of detection signals of a plurality of infrared sensors 24 provided in a flame detection part 14 and a second stage fire determination for determining that a predetermined fluctuation frequency unique to the flame is obtained from a detection signal of at least one infrared sensor 24a among the plurality of infrared sensors 14, and determines the fire on the basis of a result of the second stage fire determination. An illumination control part 32 drives an illumination device 16 when a result of the first stage fire determination is obtained by the fire determination part 26, and stops the drive of the illumination device 16 when the fire determination is not performed by the fire determination part 26 after a lapse of a predetermined time after the drive of the illumination device 16 is started. |
