The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a sulfide solid electrolyte material which has good ion conductivity and high stability with respect to moisture. The present invention achieves the above-mentioned purpose by providing a sulfide solid electrolyte material which is characterized by containing M1 element (for example, Li element), M2 element (for example, Ge element, Sn element and P element) and S element and by having a peak at a position of 2theta = 29.58° ± 0.50° in an X-ray diffraction measurement using a CuKalpha ray. The sulfide solid electrolyte material is also characterized in that if IA is the diffraction peak intensity at 2theta = 29.58° ± 0.50° and IB is the diffraction peak intensity at 2theta = 27.33° ± 0.50°, the value of IB/IA is less than 0.50, and that M2 includes at least P and Sn. |
