PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device which, when an internal combustion engine starting control and shifting control overlap, can smoothly perform each control while ensuring comfortable travelling performance regardless of vehicle speed.SOLUTION: In a control device of a vehicle drive device, an engagement device for disconnecting, a rotating electrical machine and a transmission mechanism are provided in order in a power transmission path which connects an internal combustion engine and a vehicle wheels. The control device further includes: a starting control part which executes internal combustion engine starting control; a starting slip control part which, during the internal combustion engine starting control, performs starting slip control in which one of the engagement devices for shifting is set to be a slip engagement state; and an object determination part which sets which engagement device to set to the slip engagement state in the starting slip control. If the vehicle speed is equal to or greater than a determination speed, the object determination part sets a normally released engagement device to be the determined engagement device, and if the vehicle speed is less than the determination speed, the object determination part sets a specific engagement device to be the determined engagement device. |
