PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber tape capable of suppressing light loss increase on optical fibers, obtaining stable light loss characteristic, obtaining sufficient long-term reliability by reduction of distortion applied to the optical fibers, and facilitating connecting operation in the case of a single-core separation work using a brush-like tool.SOLUTION: The optical fiber tape comprises single-core coated optical fibers of three or more cores with a coating applied on an outer circumference and a gluing part for integrating two adjacent single core coated optical fibers that are two-dimensionally separated from each other in a longitudinal direction and a width direction of the single core coated optical fibers. A longitudinal length Lof a part of the gluing part in contact with surfaces of the single core coated optical fibers is longer than a longitudinal length Lof a part of the gluing part at an arbitrary position between the adjacent single core coated optical fibers. |
