PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a bead member for tires, in each of which the tire having high strength and excellent uniformity can be obtained, production efficiency thereof can be improved and a production cost thereof can be reduced and to provide the bead member for tires.SOLUTION: A method for producing the bead member for circular tires, which member includes a bead core 10 obtained by winding a wire 11a, comprises the steps of: supporting the bead core 10 to be rotary driven to the peripheral direction; supplying a bead core coating rubber member 13 which a groove part 13b is formed in the longitudinal direction, toward a wind starting reference point P; fitting a part of the bead core 10 into the groove part 13b; inserting the rubber member 13 while rotary driving the bead core 10 to the peripheral direction; and press-bonding the bead core coating rubber member 13 to the bead core 10 so that the entire periphery of the bead core 10 is covered with the bead core coating rubber member 13. |
