PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge sealed letters with high reliability irrespective of a mass of a sealed letter.SOLUTION: A mass of a sealed letter obtained by adding the mass of enclosed depending on the number of enclosed matters to the mass of an envelope is acquired as letter mass information. The acquired letter mass information and a predetermined discharge speed setting table are collated. On the basis of the collated result, discharge control information depending on the letter mass is output to a discharge means 2, to discharge the sealed letter at a discharge speed appropriate for the mass of the sealed letter. |
