PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device allowing for an APC control in a short time.SOLUTION: A laser diode 30YK radiates a beam BYK. A photo diode detects an output of the laser diode 30YK. A separator 38YK separates the beam BYK into beams BY and BK. A deflector 43 deflects the beams BY and BK using a different deflection surface. A photoreceptor drum 4K is scanned by the beam BK during a period TK. A photoreceptor drum 4Y is scanned by the beam BY during a period TY. APC circuits 60K and 60Y respectively perform the APC control of the laser diode 30YK when the photoreceptor drums 4K and 4Y are scanned by the beams BK and BY on the basis of the output of the laser diode 30YK.
