PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half cutting device capable of easily cutting only the predetermined layer of a tape having a laminated structure, and to provide a tape printing device including the half cutting device.SOLUTION: A tape printing device includes print information input means, print information printing means, full cutting means for cutting a printing tape 31 in a width direction to form a label, partial cutting means 18 for cutting only the print layer or the release layer of the printing tape in the width direction, and control means for controlling each means. The partial cutting means includes a pedestal 18a for receiving the printing tape and a movable blade 18b, a movable blade rotatable to be contacted with/separated from the pedestal, and a movable arm 70 for rotating the movable blade. The movable blade is rotated by the movable arm to be abuttable on the printing tape, and slidable in the width direction of the printing tape when being abutted on the printing tape. |
