PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank for storing melt in which the dangerousness of breakage due to fluctuations of pressure is reduced.SOLUTION: A tank 19 for storing melt of a substance that is solid at a normal temperature, under a predetermined operation pressure includes: a seal pot 21 which is connected to a tank gas phase part via piping and retains the inside of the tank at a constant pressure; an inert gas supply device 23 connected to the gas phase part; and a breather valve 24 which purges an internal pressure at a pressure of at most an upper limit value of a withstanding pressure of the tank and sucks external gas at a pressure of at least a lower limit value of the withstanding pressure, wherein a first tank provided with a gas communication pipe which sucks gas from an external part during reducing pressure, a second tank provided with a gas discharge port which discharges gas during increasing pressure, and a pressure adjusting pipe which connects both tanks are provided. The first tank is filled with seal liquid so as to get to a negative pressure within a prescribed range, the second tank is filled with the seal liquid so as to get to a positive pressure within a prescribed range, a lower limit value of the operation pressure is set to a set pressure supplied from the inert gas supply device and an upper limit value of the operation pressure is set to a pressure at which the seal liquid is blown out from the seal pot. |
