PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suppression of occurrence of an abnormal noise due to a brake noise during braking in a vehicle backward direction.SOLUTION: A biasing spring 15 for biasing a friction pad 10 in a direction that becomes a turn-out side of a disc 1 when a vehicle moves forward is compactly arranged between an ear part 11A of the friction pad 10 (a back metal 11) and a torque receiving surface 5 of a carrier 2. The biasing spring 15 is formed by bending a plate material with spring properties and configured such that a spring constant is set to a small value so as to avoid a resonance frequency that causes noise. On that occasion, the biasing spring 15 is provided such that its base end side is fixed to the ear part 11A of the back metal 11 and its tip side is elastically brought into contact with the torque receiving surface 5 of the carrier 2. In addition, the biasing spring 15 is arranged at a position closer to a radial outside than to a center position in a width direction of the ear part 11A (the radial direction of the disc 1). |
