PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which is advantageous for downsizing of an entire size with a combination of auto-focus and manual focus.SOLUTION: A lens barrel 1 includes a fixed barrel 8 and a clutch plate 30 for switching an engaging state and a released state of a gear train state by varying the rotational position of a variable gear 25 of a gear train for transmitting torque from a driving source to a cam barrel 6. Here, the fixed barrel 8 includes a plurality of guide shafts 8d, 8e respectively engaging with a plurality of engagement holes 30b, 30c formed on the clutch plate 30 for guiding the clutch plate 30 to be capable of moving in a prescribed direction. In this case, a tip of the second guide shaft 8e arranged more on a side of an optical axis than the first guide shaft 8d is in a position deviated in the prescribed direction in the optical axis direction to a tip of the first guide shaft 8d arranged in the position which is farthest away from an optical axis among the plurality of guide shafts. In addition, a sliding region where the engagement hole 30c is slid with guidance by the second guiding shaft 8e is deviated in the prescribed direction in the direction of the optical axis to the sliding region where the engaging hole 30b is slid with guidance by the first guiding shaft 8d. |
