The present invention provides a paraffin mixture which has excellent volatility and is suitable for use as an oil for cleaning or a cosmetic preparation for the skin or hair. This paraffin mixture contains an isoparaffin having 12-16 carbon atoms, and has a boiling point range of 185-215°C. This paraffin mixture has a 2,2,4,6,6-pentamethyl heptane content of less than 10% by mass. |
