Provided is a double-deck elevator wherein, when rope anchoring members from which a car positioned vertically in a car frame is suspended are moved by pressure-generating devices and rope elongation is corrected, a rope elongation correction amount is increased by providing raising bodies. This double-deck elevator is provided with a car frame (2), an upper car (12), a lower car (13), a car positioning adjustment drive device (11), and ropelike bodies (17), and is characterized in that one or both ends of each ropelike body (17): is suspended by anchoring members (26a, 26b); is attached to the car frame (2) via anchoring member moving devices (25a, 25b) that move the anchoring members (26a, 26b); and enable raising bodies (28), which support the bottom surfaces of the anchoring members (26a, 26b), to be attached to extension tips on the anchoring member moving devices (25a, 25b).
