The automatic planetary centrifugal clutch comprises an elastic drum (2), a carrier (21), centrifugal weights (22), a carrier (3) and satellites (4). The carrier (21) incorporates mechanically housed rotational centrifugal weights (22) with a free rotation around their axes in a way that allows the weights (22) a free movement in the direction away from the centre and to the centre of rotation of the carrier (21). When the carrier (21) is rotating, centrifugal and inertial forces occur in the centres of gravity of weights (22). When the carrier (21) is rotating, the weights (22) are rolling inside the circular elastic drum (13), thus deforming the circular drum ( 13) to an oval. The satellites (4) on the carrier (3) of the output driven section of the clutch are rolling along the inner wall of the originally circular drum (2). With the rising ovality of the drum (2) caused by an increased rotation of the carrier (21) with the weights (22), the satellites (4) on the carrier (3) become locked with rising force until the input and output sections of the clutch become synchronized, (see Fig. No. 3). |
