A wireless access authentication method and device relate to the field of wireless communications to prevent a key from being decrypted. The method comprises: after it is judged that a character word of first user equipment is not prestored in a gateway device and the first user equipment has failed to try to access the gateway device using a key for the first time, counting and recording the number of times of continuously failing to access the gateway device by the first user equipment (S101); and if the number is greater than a preset first threshold, generating a new key, and conducting WIFI access authentication on user equipment of which a character word is not prestored in the gateway device through the new key (S102). |
