PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel having a highly reliable structure.SOLUTION: A touch panel 100 comprises an operation area 105 formed by disposing, on a substrate 102, a plurality of first detection electrodes 103 extending in an X direction and a plurality of second detection electrodes 104 extending in a Y direction perpendicular to the X direction in a matrix form. The first detection electrode 103 is configured so that a thin wire part 109 and an electrode pad part 110 having a shape partially wider than the thin wire part 109 are aligned alternately. The second detection electrode 104 intersects with two thin wire parts 109 of the first detection electrode 103, and is configured so as to be broken at an intersection 106. An insulator film 107 is arranged on an upper layer of the thin wire part 109 of the first detection electrode 103 within the intersection 106, and a bridge electrode 111 is arranged on an upper layer of the insulator film 107 to connect electrode pad parts 112 broken at the intersection 106 with each other. |
