PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for producing a resin composition in which a weight average fiber length of a fibrous filler included therein is controlled to 400 μm or less.SOLUTION: The method is carried out by using an extruder 10 including a cylinder 2 and a screw 3 disposed in the cylinder 2, in which the cylinder 2 is provided with a main feed port 5 and a side feed port 7 downstream the main feed port 5 in an extrusion direction. A resin composition is obtained by supplying the whole amount of a resin (A) to the extruder 10 through the main feed port 5, while supplying the whole amount of a fibrous filler (B) having a weight average fiber length of 1 mm or more to the extruder 10 through the main feed port 5, or supplying a part of the filler to the extruder 10 through the main feed port 5 and supplying the rest of the filler to the extruder 10 through the side feed port 7, then melt-kneading the materials and extruding the kneaded mixture. |
