PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To end route guidance at proper timing according to the type of facility set as the destination.SOLUTION: A navigation apparatus stores for each type of facility a reference distance from the facility and a reference staying duration as references for determining whether or not to end route guidance. Route guidance means executes route guidance on a route set for reaching a destination. When a facility set as the destination is approached, the current position of the navigation apparatus is detected, and the staying duration at the facility is calculated. If the current position is within the reference distance from the facility set as the destination and the staying duration surpasses the reference staying duration, the route guidance means determines that a moving body mounted with the navigation apparatus has properly reached the facility set as the destination, and ends the route guidance. |
