PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting circuit capable of lighting LEDs with one 1.5 V battery, which is a general power supply.SOLUTION: In an LED lighting circuit, diodes 2a and 2b are connected between a power supply 1 and one sides of electrodes of capacitors 7a and 7b respectively; switches 17a and 30a are connected to the other sides of the electrodes of the capacitors; LEDs 8a and 8b are connected between the one sides of the electrodes of the capacitors and the power supply; lighting and extinction of the LEDs are switched by the switches; when the LEDs are extinguished, the power supply and the capacitors are connected in parallel, current flows in the diodes, and the capacitors are charged by the power supply; and when the LEDs are lightened, the power supply and the capacitors are connected in series by the switches, no current flows in the diodes, and thereby, voltage charged in the capacitors and the power supply voltage are superposed to supply voltage sufficient for lighting the LEDs to the LEDs. |
