PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method of a moisture content in oil, which can detect the moisture content in a lubricating oil more easily than ever before.SOLUTION: A detection method of a moisture content in oil, which detects the moisture content in a lubricating oil 109 of a machine, comprises the following processes: white light emitted by a white light emitting element 101 is made penetrate through the lubricating oil 109; the light penetrating through the lubricating oil 109 is made received by a color photodetector 102; a color of the light received by the color photodetector 102 is made detected by the color photodetector 102; and the moisture content is determined on the basis of the brightness of the color detected by the color photodetector 102. |
