This invention is applied to a case where in a wireless communication system having a mobile station and a plurality of base stations that communicate with the mobile station in subframes, each of the plurality of base stations restricts downstream transport signals in a particular subframe, thereby reducing the downstream transmission power. In this case, if the mobile station is not able to designate two types of subframes in which to perform a CQI measurement, the mobile station calculates one type of CQI in the cell formed by the base station, without recognizing the particular subframe transmitted by the base station, and transmits the calculated CQI value to the base station. When having received the CQI value from the mobile station, each of the plurality of base stations corrects the CQI value into two types if the mobile station is not able to designate the two types of subframes in which to perform the CQI measurement. |
