PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SOI (Space of Interest) retrieval system and method constructed based on SOI.SOLUTION: This invention can manage an SOI (Space of Interest) space associated with a place name identifier in a dictionary form with respect to SOI space information for partitioning and managing a geographical space as not a point but a fixed region. An SOI retrieval system based on one embodiment of the invention matches one or more place name identifiers based on a geographical position with an SOI space identifier, and includes: an SOI space dictionary unit for setting public information to an SOI object and an SOI relating object; an SOI storage unit for storing the SOI space identifier subject to matching and the SOI space information while being associated with each other; and a public information storage unit for storing the public information to the SOI object and the SOI relating object. |
