PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus by which so-called "intermittent printing", due to the voltage drop of a battery provided as a driving source, is prevented.SOLUTION: Page printing for first to ninth sheets is repeatedly performed without stopping, since the detected voltage V of a battery is constantly larger than a first threshold value (1.2 V). But at the time point P1 in the middle of printing of the tenth sheet, since the detected voltage V of the battery is smaller than the first threshold value (1.2 V), page printing is stopped at the time point P2 when page printing of the tenth sheet is completed. Within subsequent 20 seconds, between the time point R1 and the time point R2, i.e. during the last ten seconds, the detected voltage V of the battery is changed from 1.25 V to 1.3 V. The amount of change in voltage satisfies the criteria in a stable state for the first time. Accordingly, at the time point R2, when the voltage V of the battery is changed to 1.3 V, page printing is restarted and page printing of the eleventh sheet is performed. |
